MODIGLIANA 1922

More than twenty years ago, our parents arrived in Modigliana. They came from a big city and, as often happens, the discovery of a place so different from their own, with its rhythms, architecture, customs, light and colors of a centuries-old culture, always immersed in the nature of the Apennines, captivated and magnetized them.

We have never been surprised that they immediately felt the desire to merge with the local community, to contribute to the protection of the little paradise they had just found. They did it in the way that to us, in hindsight, seems the most humble, grateful, respectful and logical: by planting a vineyard, tending it and making wine from it. In Modigliana and its surroundings, wine is not just a product, but a social fact;
it is the blood of a land that in the neighboring countries they call, simply, and well : "the drink".
